1. cant stand it when shoes are left lying all around the house.



2. when towels are hanging on the racks i always have to make sure they are straight and if not i straighten them.



3. i love putting mashed potatoe on a piece of bread to eat



4.when i do the washing, if the dirty socks are inside out and in a ball this is how they are washed as i dont like putting my hand inside their dirty socks



5.when i buy cold meat from the supermarket i have to taste it before i put it into the fridge
even if i have three different sorts i have to try a piece of every one.

coffee and shopping

On Tuesday 23/9.08

I had so much fun this morning with one of my new friends.

We had breakfast at Rock land mall and then she helped me find a dress for a wedding that is coming up. My youngest daughter was in ABC pr kindy for the morning so it was nice to have some time without hearing ,

i want to go to the toilet

I'm hungry

I'm tired

Can i have this etc

But i think it is also important for her to also be able to play with other children her age and have some fun .

I took some photos while at breakfast, Sorry Joe but i had to put this one in as i thought it shows how much of a lovely and fun person you are.

One thing i cant do without first thing in the morning is my coffee.

ikea

While sitting in the car waiting for my husband the kids and myself were spelling out the word ikea with the biscuits we had just brought from ikea.

BEDROOM STORAGE

I was finding it very frustrating with no storage space as our house back home in australia has lots of built in wardrobes.

So i ended up going to Ikea and buying wire basket and plastic drawers to put our two daughters clothes in, its not what i would really like but at least we can use these in the garage back home or use them to put the kids craft supplies in, at least this way we dont have to pay out for furniture that cant be used in their bedrooms back home.

I took the chest of drawers out of their room and put in ours so now my husband and myself have one each instead of sharing one between two

Birthday message

18th september Ambers birthday

Brooke and Chanelle made a birthday sign for brookes friend in Adelaide

Chanelle made the top one and brooke made the bottom one.

This is for you Amber as we are not able to be there.

ABC KINDY

Tuesday 16th September

Chanelle had her first day at pre kindy, she was so excited and asked if i was going to stay and watch her and i told her this was jordan and her special day without mummys

Her reply was okay and that was that.

As soon as we walked in she headed straight for the toys, then it was time for me to leave and she gave me a kiss and said bye mummy.When i picked her up she couldnt stop talking about kindy.

NEW PONY

Chanelle had a pony given to her from my friends daughter, and she adores it , it has to even sleep in her bed , but there isnt much room left for her.

At least this type of pony is easy to look after

WEATHER CANADA/ AUSTRALIA

I was just telling my sister in Australia they difinitely do have four seasons over here in canada.

Winter: lots of snow

Spring : slightly warm

Summer: Hot humid

Autum cool raining

This is what we have experienced for our first year of living here in canada.

In Australia you have

Sunday 14.9.08

I babysat my friends 3 children and her baby today as they were doing the 15 miles marathon.

With my 3 children we had a total of seven and you wouldnt of thought there were that many as they played wonderfull together. She picked them up before midday.

We spent the afternoon painting and the kids rode their bikes up and down the driveway.

chanelle thinks she is clever as she is now able to ride her little bike.

saturday 13.9.08

Had to buy brooke a new outfit for the fashion parade she is in at their school.

My husband fixed bradleys bike tyre so he could ride his bike.

Ordered 3 large pizzas for tea but didnt realise they would be so big,oh well at least theres pizza for lunch sunday.

beaver lake

our family had a sunday outing at beaver lake and while we were there our three children collected leaves that had fallen of the trees. There was also some lovely garden beds at the top of the lookout with some beautifull flowers. when we got home Brooke and Chanelle decided to do a poster with the leaves.

9-9-08 tuesday morning

Nothing is more special than spending a couple of hours sitting around talking and having breakfast with some very special friends, and my youngest also got to play with her little friend as well.

Chanelle

This is Chanelle my youngest child who is 31/2 but i still call her my baby.

We were in quiznos sub having a bite to eat and she she wanted a picture of her new hairstyle,

so mum obliged. I just love the little cheeky faces she makes.

see nan and pop i getting to be a big girl now.

last day of school holidays

today is monday, we decided to go to beaver lake which is part of parc of montreal.

Had a picnic lunch and the kids played a little bit of soccer but thought it would be more fun to wrestle their dad to the ground . We took a detour path under our sons guidance back to our car, but i really dont think the path was made for a childs stroller but we made it to the top of the lookout which was beautiful.

When we were leaving the park , i went to put my youngest daughters shoes on i realized that they were two left feet.

Please note my husband was the one that put them on when we left home, i couldn,t stop laughing .

all in all it was a good last day of holidays

school tommorow which i know the kids are looking forward to so they will be able to see their friends and mum can have some peace.
